Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 18 June 2026
To keep CelestLabs safe and lawful, and to honour the license of the model weights we build on, you agree not to use the service for the following. These restrictions pass through from the BigScience Open RAIL-M license and apply to any output you generate.
Prohibited uses
- Violating any applicable law, or facilitating illegal or harmful activity.
- Generating a person's voice or impersonating any individual or organisation without their explicit consent, or in a way intended to deceive.
- Creating audio that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, social-engineering, or spreading disinformation or content designed to mislead about its synthetic origin where disclosure is required.
- Generating sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or harms children.
- Producing medical, legal, or financial advice presented as human or authoritative without appropriate disclosure and qualification.
- Circumventing usage limits, security controls, or attempting to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying model.
Disclosure of synthetic audio
Where your use could reasonably mislead listeners into believing the audio is a recording of a real person, you must clearly disclose that the audio is AI-generated.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access. Serious or illegal misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
